Supernova, L8 Cones Interactive Private Limited (“Supernova,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), respects your privacy.
This Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and how you can control it when you or your child use the Supernova AI Spoken English mobile app (the “App”) and related services.

Data We Do NOT Collect
We never access your precise GPS location, health data, passwords, or payment-card numbers.
2. Personal & Device Information We Collect
Registration Data – Name, phone, grade/level, parent-or-adult flag.
Learning Activity – Audio recordings, text answers, scores, streaks.
Technical Data – Device model, OS version, App version, truncated IP.
Advertising Identifiers – IDFA/GAID only if you grant tracking permission (see §8).
3. How We Use Your Data
Teach & Personalize – Tailor lessons, give AI corrections, track fluency & personalized AI experience
Mentor Support – Share progress with human mentors so they can guide you.
Analytics & Improvement – Learn which features help users most.
Notifications – Reminders, streak messages, subscription offers (opt-out anytime).
Legal & Security – Detect fraud, comply with lawful requests.
4. AI & Speech Processing
Your spoken responses are sent securely to our servers, transcribed, analysed by our AI, and returned as instant feedback.
Retention: Audio clips = 6 months (quality audits) → deleted.
Transcripts = 24 months → anonymised to improve the AI.

We do not sell or rent your personal data. All partners process data under strict contracts and their own policies.

You may delete your account at any time from the App or by emailing us (see §12).
7. Children’s & Adults’ Privacy
Under 13 (COPPA) / Under 16 in EU (GDPR-K): A parent or guardian must create the child’s profile and consent to data use.
We collect only learning-essential information and never use it for behavioural advertising.
Parents can review, export, or delete their child’s data by emailing support@gosupernova.live.
Adult learners enjoy the same rights; we never repurpose voice data for targeted ads.
8. Ad Tracking & ATT Compliance
We request your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA) only if you tap “Allow” on Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt.
If you tap “Ask App Not to Track,” we immediately disable Singular and Facebook ad tracking.
Change permission anytime in iOS → Settings → Privacy → Tracking.
9. Your Rights
You can, at no cost:
Access a copy of your data
Correct inaccurate details
Delete your account & data
Withdraw marketing consent
Make requests via the in-app “Privacy” screen or email us (see §12). We respond within 30 days.
10. Security Measures
We use TLS 1.2+, AES-256 at-rest encryption, role-based access controls, and annual penetration testing. While no system is 100 % secure, we continuously improve safeguards.
11. International Transfers
Data may be processed on servers in India, the EU, and the United States. We rely on GDPR-approved Standard Contractual Clauses for EU data.

13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy periodically. We will post revisions in-app and on our website with a new “Effective Date.” Continued use of the App means you accept the updated terms.
